Ahoy there! My name is Phil Stringfellow, and I'm a UX / UI Curator with over 15 years of experience.
About Me
A passionate and driven UI & UX designer, I focus on solving usability problems and making the experience of using apps and websites as easy as it can be for all users.
This is achieved by creating and using user stories for projects and applying personas to situations to attempt to understand the customer's end needs. I also focus on accessibility in digital, checking my designs against guidelines and testing colours, contrast, and font size regularly.
With a background in print and front-end development, I have a wide range of experience covering digital design, and I have had the incredible good fortune to work with many individuals, SMEs and well-known brands to help understand and solve usability problems, suggest and curate solutions, collaborate with developers, and liaise and take input and feedback from major stakeholders and investors.
I am always keen to learn new methods, technologies, and subjects in all areas of design and personal learning.

Prototyping
With a background in front-end web development, as well as prototyping in Figma, I can conceptualise and bring to life ideas and designs in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Branding & Logo Design
Developing and designing the highest quality logotypes and marks & brand identities and guidelines, and presentations. This includes design systems and component libraries.

A custom-designed SaaS web-app, designed for clients and customers charging their electric vehicles. The sister mobile app was designed in conjunction with the web app.
Hull Walk of Fame iOS App
A custom iOS app designed to allow the residents of Hull and visitors to the city to discover more about the city and the people who helped create it.
3D Animation and Rendering
Experimenting with Blender and Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects to create 3D animations, transitions and looping videos.

A custom iOS app focused on allowing new business owners to ask questions in their related sector, and to connect with experts and consultants.
Blockchain Browser Game
A website designed for a blockchain-based browser game that allows the player to rise up the ranks of a crime family, with their assets and purchases stored in the blockchain.
